Ruth Norah Nakhumicha

“Hi, I’m Ruth Norah Nakhumicha, 19, the lastborn in a family of 8. Growing up, life was a mix of laughter and challenges, but I often found myself wondering about the bigger picture. When I stumbled upon the Bible survey, I was curious – what could it offer me? As I started reading, the stories and teachings began to speak to my heart. One verse that hit me was ‘Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest’ (Matthew 11:28). It was like God was saying, ‘Ruth, I see you, and I’ve got you.’ Through this journey, I’ve learned about God’s love, grace, and purpose for my life. It’s impacted my relationships, helped me make better decisions, and given me hope for the future.

I’m thrilled to share that I recently completed the Mosaic Bible study program, which deepened my understanding of God’s word and its application in my life. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and I’m grateful for the community that supported me along the way. As it says in Philippians 1:6, ‘He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.’ I’m trusting God to continue guiding me.

To top it off, I received a merit award for my efforts – what a blessing! 😊 I’m learning to trust in God’s plan, as Proverbs 3:5-6 says, ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.’

I’ve also been diving into the Historical Books of the Bible, and wow! The stories of Joshua, Judges, Ruth, and Samuel have taught me so much about faith, leadership, and God’s sovereignty. I’ve seen how God’s plan unfolds throughout history, and it’s given me a deeper appreciation for His word.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Rosilm and Rev. Simiyu for their unwavering support and guidance. Their passion for God’s word and dedication to mentoring have been a huge blessing to me. I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from them and grow in my faith.

Moving forward, I’m excited to continue exploring God’s word and seeing how He’ll shape my life. As Proverbs 1:5 says, ‘Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance.’ I’m looking forward to sharing what I’ve learned with others. Thank you, God, for this journey and for those who’ve walked with me.”
